Rihanna Premieres New Single on Ryan Seacrest

Fresh off the heels of her controversial collaboration with Eminem on the domestic abuse themed “Love the Way You Lie,” Rihanna is injecting some life into the pop music world again with the premier of the first single off her new album on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show.

The Bahamian beauty’s “Only the Girl (in the World)”  is a drastic departure from “Russian Roulette,” the first single off her dark and haunted album “Rated R.” The song is a return to the driving dance floor beat that made Rihanna a star. Take a listen below:

Rihanna is back to working with Norwegian pop magicians Stargate, who produced “Please Don’t Stop the Music,” and “Rude Boy,” her last number one hit. She announced that the album will be titled Loud yesterday on Seacrest’s show. “Get loud everybody. Get crazy. Get excited. ‘Cause I’m pumped. I’m just gonna be me,” she said. The album is scheduled to drop sometime in November.

Oh RiRi, I just can’t wait. Personally the song feels mediocre for a Rihanna jam. I mean “I want you to love me / like I’m a hot pie”? Who is writing your lyrics girl?

What do you guys think?
